When we started the adventure known as the Union Street Tavern in February 2006, we had no idea we would still be at it 19 years later, but we are…. due to the tremendous support of the community and the fun of making the Tavern a special meeting place in Windsor.
But now it's time to pass the torch! The Tavern has been sold, and our last day of business is Friday, April 18.
The new owner will be making some updates to the restaurant so it will be closed for a few months.
We expect the next edition of 20 Union Street will also be a special place that will earn your support.
We look forward to seeing many of you in the next week so we can thank you in person for your terrific support and reminisce about the many happy and fun times at UST.
Celebrate the memories of the countless Barstool Philosophers and Poets who have held court at the Tavern over the years.
