You may have noticed a large Keller Construction sign in front of our shop. We had been planning for over a year to do a remodel of the front retail space this August. (The video gives you a rough idea of our remodeling plan.) The fire in July has modified some of our plans but both the cleanup and the remodel should be done so that we can reopen in early September. This project is supported by the Amex Shop Small Grants Program, presented by American Express and Main Street America as well as a grant from the Village of Windsor. Thank you to the organizations providing the grants as well as the support from all of you fabulous people. We will see you in September.

Cleaning up after a fire takes a lot more time than I had hoped. 🥴

We are moving through the process as well as we can. The inventory has been done and, with the help of staff, family, and lots of friends from the Treinen clan, we have removed a lot of the unreplaceables. Now the professionals can come in and work on the structural cleaning. I don't have a good sense of how long the process will take, but we will keep you up to date as we have more information.

We had the second round of delicious muffins in the oven when the fire broke out on Monday morning. It looks like we are going to have to wait for a while before more muffins are made again. 😥

Everyone is safe but there's a lot of cleanup to do. We are on day three of the clean up, fire investigation, and insurance companies working through the details of what has to happen before the cleanup can begin.

Thank you again to the quick response from the fire, police, and EMS crews. You all helped keep the damage to a minimum.

A big thank you to all the local businesses offering their help and to all of you for your support. You are all part of why this community is so awesome. We will keep you updated, but the process is going to take some time.

In case you happen to be wandering down to our lovely shop anytime soon, you will have to temporarily find your bakery and coffee elsewhere. We had a fire in the basement Monday morning. Everyone is safe and the fire and water damage is confined to the basement. However, soot and smoke are everywhere and the cleanup is going to be extensive. So, we will be closed until further notice.

Thank you for all the support that everyone has shared. This, too, shall pass. 😊

Good Morning! Today seemed like a great day to bake up some banana muffins, so on the shelves you will find a wide assortment of flavors including banana, banana chocolate chip, Elvis, bran, and gluten free raspberry lemon poppyseed.

Soon out on the cookie shelves we will be adding sugar, frosted sugar, and triple chip to the vast selection of chocolate chip, M&M, molasses, and gluten free monster.

The sunshine and cooler temperatures this Saturday morning make a perfect combination for a day to get out and about, and we hope that you make Windsor Breads a part of your adventures.

So far, we have baked up batches of bran, cinnamon swirl, triple chip, chocolate chip, heath, raspberry, blackberry ginger, blueberry, and triple berry muffins. Our gluten free muffin this morning is lemon poppyseed.

The cookie shelves are stocked full with monster (always gluten free), chocolate chip, triple chip, M&M, sugar, peanut butter, peanut butter chocolate chip, and molasses.

To add to those selections, we also have an assortment of scones, brownies, chocolate peanut butter bars, cinnamon rolls, and a fresh batch of our breakfast sandwhiches.

Happy Friday!

For this lovely day, we have baked bran, raspberry, raspberry chocolate, triple berry, blueberry, and cinnamon swirl muffins and mini breads.

For cookies later this morning, we will be making peanut butter, peanut butter chocolate chip, and molasses.

This morning, we have baked blackberry cardamom, ginger peach, raspberry, raspberry chocolate, and triple berry muffins.

As the morning carries on, we will be baking molasses, chocolate chip, and M&M cookies.

It'll take us a bit of time, but the plan is to do monster cookies later this morning. Good things are worth the wait. 😋

Our muffins this morning include banana, banana chocolate chip, banana walnut, bran, raspberry, raspberry chocolate chip, blueberry, and gluten-free lemon poppy seed.

Beyond the monster cookies, we will be making chocolate chip, M&M, sugar, and molasses.

It's Tuesday and we will be at the DeForest Farmers Market from 3:30 to 6:30. We hope you get a chance to come out and visit us and other amazing vendors.😊
