The Greeley Stampede is excited to continue our Read to the Stampede program sponsored by Oxy and supported by The Midnight Oil Bookstore to help encourage learning in our youth, as well as offer a fun and educational way to win awesome prizes!

The Midnight Oil Bookstore, located at 827 10th St, will be hosting a kick-off party May 1st from 2:30pm-4:30pm. Stop by with the kids for free ice cream, thanks to Meadow Gold Dairy, take a photo with Bucky, pick up your reading log and free books (while supplies last).

The first 100 kids to pick up their reading log from The Midnight Oil Bookstore will get two free books! Those that complete their reading logs will earn a voucher for a FREE rodeo ticket thanks to Oxy. Children ages 4-8 years old can participate.

Reading logs will be available at The Midnight Oil Bookstore until June 1st. Reading logs must be completed and returned by June 12th for rodeo ticket voucher.

Mutton bustin’ is a must-see event during the rodeos! Enter with a chance for your child to participate in the 100th annual Greeley Stampede PRCA rodeo.

Visit our website to enter our lottery-style drawing for a chance to ride a sheep. This year’s Mutton Bustin’ is sponsored by Justin Boots and King Soopers , and proudly supported by the Bank of Colorado .

This year, there will be a $30 entry fee for selected participants. Participants must be between the ages of 5-7 and weigh under 55 pounds.

Selected participants will be notified after our drawing on June 4th and will receive an assortment of prizes including a $20 Kings Sooper gift card.
