Greetings and salutations, loyal readers! Despite the bitter cold, ice, and snow throwing a bit of a wrench in our schedule, it’s been a very productive month inside of Kettle & Quill. We’re eager to start revealing some of what we've been working on as the winter season loosens its grip and yields to the promise of spring.
With the layout complete we have officially begun the second phase of our interior transformation, embarking on the journey of implementing wall colors, flooring, and unique design aspects that will make our cozy shop your go to destination for books and merchandise. Some key features you can look forward to include a peacefully secluded event room and study space dedicated to deep thought and creativity, which will also be available to rent for private gatherings; an imaginative children’s area designed for inquisitive young scholars to read and enjoy a space of their own while parents wander the realm; and a generous social gathering space ideal for sharing a drink with friends, hosting author readings, poetry slams, game nights, and more.
