Completed the shrub landscaping along 2 blocks of sidewalks last week and the wood dumpster enclosure in the work phase prior to that. Still need to install 3 trees required by the City along both streets that compose our corner lot (W Gerrard St and S Braddock St).

In this photo you can also see the large white column/post where the restored original vertical diner sign will be going. We completed the sign restoration a while ago but are waiting to put it up until we get closer to opening.

Still working on the diner interior. If anyone has old photos of the diner interior from the 1950's, please post them here or email them to us. It will help us a lot figure out some historical aspects.

Polishing the 2,000 authentic red glass mirror tiles (each 2 inch square) to be mounted on the diner exterior. They are 100% exact to how they looked in 1948 when the diner first opened. These have been custom made.

Created to extremely precise size tolerances, the custom made stainless steel channels to hold the authentic red glass tiles for the outside of the diner are now being attached. They had to be made to within 1/32" in accuracy otherwise they would not fit into the channels on the building, nor would the 2,000 glass tiles slide in.
