💙 A Little House of Flavors Update 💙

I’ve had quite a few people asking me lately, “How’s the sale going?” — so I thought it was time for a little update!

Yes, House of Flavors is still for sale. ❤️

But in the meantime, we are still right here doing what we’ve always done! We’re open, serving up your favorite food, hand-dipped ice cream, shakes, specialty drinks, and all the little things that make House of Flavors what it is. 🍦🍔🥤

Nothing has changed for our customers or our employees. We’re still running things the way we always have, and we plan to keep doing that while we look for the right person to take over this special place.

Of course, we would love to have a buyer soon! After 20 years of owning House of Flavors, this place means so much to me, and my biggest hope is to find someone who will love it, the community, and the people who walk through our doors just as much as I have. ❤️

So for those of you who have been wondering — we’re still here, we’re still open, and we’re still serving you!

And if you or someone you know has ever dreamed of owning a little piece of a community staple, this might just be the opportunity you’ve been looking for. 😊

Unfortunately, our power is currently out, so we are unable to open until it is restored. 😔

We’re hoping to have power restored soon and will open as soon as possible! ❤️

❤️ THIS is what House of Flavors is all about. ❤️

Tonight, as Jeff was carrying supplies into the HOF, a lady stopped him in the parking lot. She told him that she was down and out in life right now and that she was very hungry. Someone had told her about our Blessing Board.

So we did what we do.

We provided her with a meal, delivered right to her car. But before she left, she asked Jeff if he would pray with her.

She didn’t just need food.

She needed someone to care. She needed someone to listen. She needed someone to pray with her.

And this is what I have worked so hard to build at the House of Flavors for the past 20 years.

We aren’t the fanciest restaurant. We mess up orders sometimes. We make mistakes. We are small. But we love BIG. ❤️

I am so incredibly grateful that people in our community know they can come to the HOF for more than just a meal. They can come for food, comfort, relationships, a listening ear, and even prayer.

The Blessing Board exists because of the generosity of people who believe that no one should go hungry. And because of your donations, we are able to help people when they need it most.

We never turn anyone away.

As many of you know, House of Flavors is now for sale. And while that comes with a lot of emotions, I am praying with all my heart that God sends the right person to take this business into the next chapter — someone who will continue loving this community and every single person who walks through those doors.

Thank you for trusting us.

Thank you for loving the HOF.

And thank you to everyone who has donated to the Blessing Board and helped us take care of our neighbors.

Tonight was just another reminder that this little restaurant is about so much more than food.

It’s about people. It’s about community. It’s about love. And sometimes, it’s about a meal and a prayer at exactly the right moment. ❤️

Our phone is not working currently. It seems as if there is a problem with Verizon right now. We are open. If you need to place a takeout order, you will need to come in to do it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I can’t believe that I’m hanging another picture of someone who we cared so deeply about on our wall. All of these guys were not just customers to us. They were our friends. Their families are our friends. At the House of Flavors we have the upmost respect for all first responders. We were blessed to be able to call Brad a friend as well. His smile and presence will be missed at the HOF. ❤️

I just wanted to take a second to brag on three young boys that came into the House of Flavors today. I feel like people will always take the time to tell parents when their kids do something wrong, but never take time to praise them.
We had three boys come to the HOF today with no parents. I believe they were probably fifth or sixth graders. I know one was named Grady. The other was Kellin and I’m not for sure about third boy. However, they were literally the politest and best behaved boys. Their manners were amazing. They ate outside on the picnic table, and they even cleaned up their trash in the area where they were sitting. If you know their parents, please let them know that it was an honor to serve their boys today. ❤️😊
