HONORING THE LIFE OF
Jessica Lynn Powell Moore of Wi******er, Kentucky, beloved wife of Chris Moore, departed this life Monday, August 17, 2026 at the age of 37 years. She was the daughter of Marvin Powell, Jr. and Shari Snowden Powell born in Clark County, Kentucky, on July 23, 1989. She was a high school graduate of George Rogers Clark in Wi******er, Kentucky, and graduated from Spencerian College in Lexington, Kentucky, as Medical Clinical Specialist. Jessica was most of all a loving wife, mother, daughter, and granddaughter. She is survived by her loving husband, Chris Moore of Wi******er, Kentucky; one son, Ryan Christopher Moore of Wi******er, Kentucky; one daughter, Alyssa Jean Moore of Wi******er, Kentucky; her parents, Marvin Powell, Jr., and Shari Snowden Powell of Wi******er, Kentucky; her paternal grandparents, Marvin Powell, Sr., and Mary Jane King Powell of Wi******er, Kentucky; her mother and father-in-law, David and Vickie Moore; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Steven and Amie Moore; and two nephews, Lincoln Moore and Christian Moore. She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Michael and Alma Jean Mullins Snowden and one niece. She also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Serving as pallbearers: Chris Moore, Steven Moore, Levi May, Charles Miller, Sr., Jimmy Miller, Charles Miller, Jr., Jeff Mayo, Marcus Jones and Scott Cooper. Serving as honorary pallbearers: Elders and Deacons of The Forest Grove Christian Church.
Visitation: Saturday, August 22, 2026 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Calvary Christian Church, 15 Redwing Dr. Wi******er, Kentucky 40391.
Funeral Service: Saturday, August 22, 2026 beginning at 12:00 P.M. at Calvary Christian Church, with her brother-in-law Pastor Steven Moore officiating.
Burial: Dawson - Miller Cemetery, Pine Ridge Rd, Wi******er, Kentucky.
