Fall Heritage Festival Cowan TN is excited to announce they are a recipient of a $500 Spark Good local grant from Walmart Wi******er - Decherd Blvd. This grant will help with the annual Cowan Fall Heritage Festival as it celebrates life in the foothills of the Cumberland Plateau by bringing regional communities together through engaging, educational, and inspiring experiences. Featuring history, music, arts, and opportunities for civic involvement, the festival honors local heritage while fostering connection, creativity, and community pride for all ages.

Now in its 13th year, the Fall Heritage Festival is a major fundraiser for the Cowan Railroad Museum. It is a FREE, family-friendly 3-day event (Sept 18-20, 2026 ) with over 150 booths featuring arts, crafts, food, and heritage vendors. Activities for all ages, include a Kids Zone, Exhibits, demonstrations and three stages of live music featuring local, regional and national artists. Saturday features a patriotic parade with marching bands, floats, antique cars, and more. Attendance ranges from 5,000–6,000 visitors from across the region.
