Here’s a little more about Amber, in her own words:
"Hi there. I'm Amber Wakem, and I'm going into my third year as the graphic design, yearbook, photography, and entrepreneur teacher at Wimberley High School. This will be my 12th year as a teacher.
Since joining the WHS family, I'm proud to boast that I've gotten our yearbook and several of our students both state and national recognition for their work, and we're only just beginning. I also worked on relaunching the entrepreneurship program at the high school, and our students are set to debut the school's first school store — which will be completely student-led.
I'm looking forward to a remarkable year and can't wait to see what my kids can do. Thank you for trusting us with your kiddos and all the support."
