❤️ DONATIONS FOR DEREK ❤️

Wimberley National Mini Golf is hosting a benefit for Derek Bauer on Sunday, October 11th, from 12–5 PM. ⛳️

Derek is a longtime Wimberley resident who has spent years serving our community, delivering flowers for Wimberley Flowers and working with Pizza Hut. He’s also a good friend of the Tavern and the son of Pastor Dirk, who has been part of the Cypress Falls family for years — serving as a coworker, and continuing to hold services and baptisms here at Cypress Falls.

Derek is currently facing some serious and unexpected medical challenges, including dialysis and a fractured back. He was also recently dropped from his insurance, leaving him and his family facing a difficult financial situation.

Here’s how you can help:

⛳️ Mini Golf — $5 per player
Play a round and make a $5 donation toward Derek’s medical expenses. Donations will be accepted via cash, Cash App, or Venmo.

🌭 Frito Pie Sale — $7 each
100% of the proceeds go to Derek.

And if you can’t make it out Sunday, you can still help by donating whatever you can. Every bit makes a difference.

Let’s show Derek and his family a little of that Wimberley community love. ❤️

The road closure began yesterday, September 28 and is expected to last approximately five weeks, with the road anticipated to reopen in early November.

If you're heading to Dark Skies, Cypress Falls Lodge, or the Swimming Hole, please allow some extra time for your drive and follow the posted road signage.
