I have numerous items for sale, from kitchen wares, glassware, equipment and accessories to 'front of house' artwork and decorative items, chairs, tables, etc. I Include a selection of pics below, but there's more than I can post here. Come by and take a look.

for all of you espresso lovers...a great, high end home set up or something that would be right at home in a small restaurant or cafe (like ours!)...A La Spaziale S1 Vivaldi II espresso machine and a Mazzer Mini 'Super Jolly' grinder. They both have been used in our restaurant but have been carefully maintained over the years. The single group Vivaldi has a plumbed in water connection (no reservoir) and custom walnut side panels, I include the tamping mat, knock box, manuals, cleaning kit and supplies...I spent c. 3,800.00 back when we opened. I'm asking 2,500.00. Let me know soon as I've had some inquiries already!

Jobell is selling artwork!...(any basically everything else, from kitchen ware, furnishings and some really good beers I still have on hand!). Many of you have joined us over the years and expressed appreciation for the decor. This is a chance to own a small piece of what made Jobell so special. Well we're dark and quiet at Jobell, the lingering emotions and sounds of so much laughter and enjoyment of good food, drink, friends and stories still present. I've been going through everything, cleaning, organizing, tossing out stuff I didn't even know I had but through it all I've been overwhelmed by all of the love that has gone into what we've done over these past 10 years.
Anyway, my mood aside, I do have quite a number of items that I'd like to re-home. I'm keeping some of the larger equipment for now in the eventuality of someone wanting to come in and operating a restaurant again but there are items that may be of interest to any local restaurateurs.
Some are pictured here; dishware/ pans/ cambros/ hotel pans/ storage containers/ etc.

it's over, sad but true...I've been going through the quiet restaurant with many memories lingering.

While cleaning, organizing and figuring out what to do with the remnants (a great deal of produce went to the great organization Wimberley Crisis Breadbasket), I've realized how much wine and beers still remain (more than even I can consume!)

so...
this coming Saturday, 1/25, I'll be at the restaurant between noon and 5pm with my remaining wines and beers on sale (up to 50% off menu prices!).
If you can't make it I'll also be able to set up appointments for those interested.

I will also be entertaining some requests for purchase of certain pieces of artwork/ furnishings that have adorned the restaurant.

whew! We made it!...our New Year's Eve gathering was off the hook!
A great team, a great menu designed by Chef Meagan Stearns and executed by Meagan, Chefs Jeremy Crochet, Thomas Wexler and Eric Ely, and attended by 90 or so of a wonderful mix of old friends, cute couples and a few new faces.
There were lots of hugs and stories of years gone by. Many expressed their love of our family's little experiment in really good, honest cuisine, prepared and served with care and passion.
At multiple points I found myself with voicebreaking and tears starting to form at the love and appreciation expressed. This is more meaningful than I can say. Thank you all!

As our last hurrah we will be open from 1/7-1/12 only, with some steeply discounted wines and beer. Come by and enjoy the last week of Jobell, we'd love to see you!

The New Year's menu is here!
We're sometimes late, but the wait is well worth it!
There are still a few reservations available and will have a wait list that we'll update as we get closer.
We'd love to have you visit with us on what is a very special evening for us. Our 10th New Year's Eve menu and our last day of regular operations! (though we will be open one last week from the 7th through the 12th with steep markdowns on food and wines!)

So you can't rush creative types, it's simply the price to be expected for the wonderful results...and the results are in! our very last New Year's Eve menu is here!!!

starting with...
an amuse of a black eyed pea bruschetta on toasted sourdough, with herbed goat cheese, bacon and a balsamic glaze

followed by...
Mick Family Farms lamb merguez arancinni with feta and tazatziki (Love you Amiee for all of the support these past 10 years!)

your entrees provide a choice (I know it's tough!)...
Honey Chipotle MTX Beef braised short ribs over a Pasta & Co. chive-saffron papardelle (hand made by Ron, their master pasta maker, who's been part of our cuisine for a decade!) with a mushroom creme sauce

or...
A 'Cowboy Cut' whole Branzino from Quality Seafood in Austin (thank you Carol for all of the years of great seafood!) with fennel roasted potatoes, charred cherry tomatoes and an olive salsa

lastly sweets (from our head Chef Meagan who's tolerated me for the past 6 years!)...
A Horchatta Rum cake with a pistachio creme and honey whipped cream (ok, we'll understand if you require a To-Go box!)

We're pretty full on reservations but we do have a waiting list option. We'll surely try to accommodate everyone!!

We're winding it down, the last few weeks are upon us. The rumors of our closing are true but we're trying to do it in good form as we've tried to do everything over the past 10+ years.

To this end we're planning a wonderful prix fixe New Year's Eve dinner for those who can join us.
This will be our last day of regular operations (though we may have some special sales on food and wines between the 6th and 12th of January). I'll have the NYE menu posted as soon as it's finalized.

It's been a great run and until it's over at the end of this year please try to visit with us, either as one of our loyal guests and friends, or as a 'newbie' coming in for the first time. You won't be disappointed.

Jess, myself and our entire team wish you the very best throughout the holidays and the coming year. It's been one of the greatest privileges of our lives to serve wonderful food to our great Wimberley community and those who have visited with us.
