It is with heavy hearts, we’ve made the difficult decision to close Kelly’s Hill Country BBQ. This was not an easy choice, but the financial strain of keeping the business going has simply become more than we can carry, and as much as we’ve fought to make it work, sometimes you have to accept that it’s time to let it go.
To every customer who stood in line, stopped by weekly (some even daily), traveled a long distance just to try our BBQ, left us a review, shared a post, recommended us to a friend, used our catering services or simply said, ‘That was the best barbecue I ever had!’- we thank you from the bottom of our hearts! You have no idea what that meant to us helping us achieve so much on this journey. We will forever be grateful!
The hardest part is leaving our amazing employees. We want to thank Greg, our pit guy, who started each day very early in the morning to smoke the BBQ you love. We also thank Jeff, Murrissa, Paul, Mason and Darrell, our inside crew that always ran a tight ship and made everything run smoothly, no matter the obstacle that came their way. They always provided great customer service which made people want to come back for more BBQ. We were so lucky to have them during the day, but also at many catering events earning us compliments about our top notch food and service. Some of them have been with us since the start of Kelly’s Hill Country BBQ and even at our previous business, so lots of memories have been made.
That being said, the business is still for sale. So, if you’d like to keep this great food truck going with the best staff and BBQ or know someone interested, give us a call. Serious inquiries only.
During this difficult time, we ask that you please keep negative comments and assumptions to yourself. It’s truly unnecessary at this point.
We still have our other food truck, Blanco River Wing Company, located next to our BBQ truck, so come by and see us Thursday-Friday. We will have a new page soon with more info.
Thank you Wimberley!
