As many of you know, we (Wendy and Madison) are coming up to the end of our chapter as the owners of Bubble & Brew. Not to worry! We’ve found excellent new owners who will take great care of you at the markets and events in the future (more on that to come!). After 9 years of hard work and cherished memories made with our dear Ruby (our beloved Citroën fire truck that we run Bubble & Brew out of), we’ve decided to begin a new life chapter. Madison is excited for her upcoming move to Manchester, UK, where she’ll be moving in with old college friends and Wendy is looking forward to more work-life balance, time to travel and a future career in the tea industry.
Although we are so excited for these new ventures, we will deeply miss the community that was built by this business and by all of our loyal customers. If you’ve ever come to the truck, ordered a drink or pastry, and spoken to us, we want to sincerely thank you for supporting us and sharing a piece of this nearly-decade-old-dream to run a mobile cafe in our local community. It could not have been done without you.
Our last market is tomorrow (Thursday, March 12th) at the Westport Farmers Market at Gilbertie’s Herb Garden from 10-2pm. We’d love to see you there to thank you in person and say goodbye (although you’ll likely see us as shoppers at markets in the future- we can’t stay away for too long!).
