Last night we hosted an impromptu $5 double elimination pool tournament and it was quite successful. We are now going to start having this every Sunday and Thursday evenings starting at 8:30pm. Payouts are 60% to first place and 40% to second place, 3rd place gets a $10 bar tab. Once a month we will make it a $10 entry fee. On Thursdays at 6pm we will warm up with a $1 entry fee and play speedball with first place winning the total minus $2 which will go to 2nd place. We will play by the same rules as in league. It’s Bring Your Meat Night from 5-11 pm tonight; $15 gets you a choice of our proteins and sides provided by PRIDE Catering FTL OR bring your meat and I’ll grill it. A donation to the American Diabetes Association gets you the sides. Hope to see you tonight!!!

The website (cornerpubbar.com) is back up and running. We’re sorry it took so long to get it fixed.
On another note, we are bringing the infamous ‘Bring your meat night’ back. June 17th 5-11pm the grill will be going. For those who are saying to themselves “what is this ‘Bring your meat night’ you speak of?” We used to grill steaks and provide delicious side dishes for a $15 donation to the charity of the month. June will be the Center for Great Apes. You can bring your own steak, chicken, fish, kabobs etc. anything that deserves to be grilled I will grill. Or, we will have chicken and some cut of steak for you to choose from. I’ll season it and cook it to temperature for you. Our contribution to the charity it that we buy all the proteins and prepare all the sides for the event. We will decide by the 17th the date and charity for July. We have the charities we give to, but if you have one you would like us to consider please let me know. We will ‘play by ear’ the dates for August and September. Happy Memorial Day! Thank you to all who served to give us our rights. Today we remember those who fought and died in the civil war, WWI, WII, Vietnam, the Korean and the war in Afghanistan. Also, to those who fought enormous odds in Pearl Harbor, Normandy, the Bay of Pigs, the Alusian Islands and so many other battles. Thank you Dad for your service and your love! We salute you!!
