*** UPDATE*** MEATLOAF MONDAY IS HERE!!
We are open for lunch until 2 PM, but will be close for the remainder of the day. We will still have meatloaf available for lunch tomorrow, along with our regularly scheduled Fried Chicken special. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to see you at tomorrow

To those who came out for the crawfish boil and either had to wait too long or were told that we had sold out very early on, we are so sorry! This was the first time we’d ever done anything like this and we were originally supposed to have an outdoor event out in the back, but changed it to indoors and the front porch at the very last minute to accommodate the band. There was a lot of confusion with the staff as to how to take orders and account for who had paid and what not. There were a lot of mistakes made, but it was a learning curve and mistakes will be corrected, as we plan to do another crawfish boil next weekend. I promise it will be much more organized and you will not have to wait long at all. We will have everything ready when you get there and we are ordering twice as much and now we know exactly how to set it up in order to be prepared on time Please accept our apologies and give us another chance . We do know that our food is good and we know that our crawfish was outstanding as far as the taste goes. We just had issues with cook times and seating and miscellaneous things like that and believe me those are easy to fix and we will make sure they’re fixed before the next boil..

For everybody coming out for the crawfish bowl today, we had a slight hiccup with our equipment that was going to enable us to have the event outside in the back so we had to kind of reroute everything which is got us running a little bit late, but we should be able to start at 2:30. The event is indoors and we have tables out front and if you BYOB you must keep the alcohol outside. As always, we appreciate your patience and understanding and we will see you soon.!!!!

I am so ready, y’all!!!!
Join us this Saturday at 2 PM at Dukes Diner in Wilson for a South Louisiana crawfish boil! No worries, as I am a native of South Louisiana and my husband lived there for many years and picked up a thing or two and he and I kind of know what we’re doing😉
Trays are $20 and they include 2 pounds of crawfish, corn on the cob, red potatoes, and andouille sausage. The price includes a drink, as well! If you desire additional pounds of crawfish on your tray, we will sell additions at $6 a pound. If you want to attend, but don’t really care for boiled crawfish, we will have a few other things available, such as chicken and sausage gumbo, crawfish bread, crawfish, fried rice, dinner salads, coleslaw, and potato salad. We will not be serving the regular menu on this day, but we will, as always, have our ice cream counter open.
We will have live music performed by 3 Shots Down and while we can’t sell alcohol, you can most certainly BYOB if you are 21 over. It’ll definitely be a good time and I can’t wait to see y’all there!!

Dukes Diner will be closed Saturday evening starting at 2 PM and will remain closed all the way through Monday in observation of Memorial Day. We will reopen again on Tuesday at 6 AM. We pray that everyone has a safe and happy holiday weekend. Don’t drink and drive! And pay attention to your kids! See y’all next week!!
