This traditional Mexican restaurant in Wilmington, NC is owned by the Ibarra family from the small Mexican town of Degollado. El Cerro Grande began as an idea to provide authentic, quality Mexican food with exceptional and friendly service, and the door of their first restaurant was opened in Wilmin

gton, NC in January 1991. It has since grown to include three locations in Wilmington. Open daily from 11:00 am and offering the best Mexican lunch and dinner in town, restaurants are located at:

1051 Military Cutoff Rd. Every location strives to provide consistent, quality food, service based on their founding principles and a great ambience for sharing with family and friends. So come on in and keep the tradition going with their aperitivos (appetizers), nachos, sopas y ensaladas (soups & salads), fajitas, tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas, burritos, especialidades de la casa (house specialties), vegetarian dishes and much more.
