UPDATE: The bill has been paid!!The person from that table who paid the bill called and then came back to pay the balance and a nice tip for our server. It was an honest mistake and humorous circumstances. They have eaten with us twice in the past week and plan on returning during their 2nd week of vacation.
We were overwhelmed by all of your comments in support of our little restaurant and all those who reached out to pay the balance of the check and tip our server Hannah. Everyone’s faith in humanity has been restored!! Thank you!!!

For those who are curious, as we said in the comments, they did not leave enough money to cover the bill or a tip. We assume it was just an error on their part.
