There has been a lot of concern recently about parasites associated with lettuce. From what we know so far, the current issue appears to be linked to a specific large-scale commercial supply chain, not to all lettuce or all growers. (U.S. Food and Drug Administration)

Our lettuce comes from small, local farmers who take great pride in growing high-quality produce. We know the people behind our food, and we trust the care they put into every harvest.

For that reason, we will continue purchasing from them and proudly serving their lettuce on our menu. As a restaurant, we take full responsibility for the ingredients we choose, and we stand behind that decision.

Moments like this can unfairly hurt small local farms through fear and misinformation, even when they have nothing to do with the outbreak. Supporting local agriculture is important to us, and we believe this is exactly when our community should stand behind the farmers who work so hard to provide fresh, quality produce.

We will continue monitoring official food safety updates and will always put the safety of our customers first. At the same time, we remain committed to supporting the local farmers who have earned our trust.

Thank you, as always, for supporting our restaurant.

Every day, our team works hard to open on time, maintain a consistent level of quality, and provide reliable service. Doing the basics well, every single day, is much harder than it looks, and our team puts in their best effort to make that happen.

Today, however, one customer at our Grab & Go counter spoke to one of our cashiers in a very disrespectful and aggressive manner, raising their voice and scolding her because the word “Poke Bowl” was misspelled.

I sincerely apologize for the spelling mistake. English is not my first language, and I often make spelling errors or say things awkwardly. If you notice a mistake like that, I would truly appreciate it if you would bring it directly to me.

What I cannot accept is treating a member of my team with disrespect. That kind of behavior creates unnecessary stress, damages morale, and discourages people who work incredibly hard every day.

I will not tolerate that behavior under any circumstances. Even if it were to cost me my business, I will always stand behind and protect my team.

Our security cameras recorded the incident, but I will not be sharing the footage publicly.

If the individual involved returns in the future, I will speak with them personally.

Thank you for your understanding and for continuing to treat our team with the same kindness and respect that the vast majority of our customers show every day.

Our new Vegan Gyoza is now available at Grab & Go!

We start with a smooth hummus made from French lentils instead of the traditional chickpeas. It’s blended with fennel, onion, organic tahini, and fresh lemon juice. I prefer French lentils because they create a lighter, cleaner flavor without feeling too heavy.

The hummus is spread as the base, then topped with vegan gyoza. It’s finished with our house-made Yuzu Ponzu and a spicy red tahini sauce, then dusted with freshly ground Sichuan pepper for a bright, citrusy aroma and a gentle kick.

It’s a satisfying meal that’s perfect for lunch all on its own.

We’re excited to welcome Sunshine’s handmade chocolates to our Grab & Go! 🍫

We’ll be carrying her chocolates going forward, and we’re happy to support another local maker. If you’re stopping by, be sure to give them a try!

This is just the beginning. We’d love to experiment with different styles and toppings throughout the season, but what stays on the menu will depend on your feedback.
