Well Im too excited to hold it in any longer. So here is my drawings for the exterior of Melanie's. Please keep in mind there are ALOT more steps I must do before she comes to light. So please say a lot of prayers because we will need them all for sure. Hopefully one day she will be standing there for years to come to bring more life to Williston.

Wishing each and everyone a Happy and Safe New Year. I look forward to what is in store for us. I'm thankful that 2024 is almost over with not one of my favorite years. All I can say is say a little prayer that everything works out. After speaking with the builder on somethings I might not be able to follow through with my vison. My heart is broken in million pieces right now. I hope things work out and it still can come to plan. I know in my heart that it would give everyone in town something they would be happy with for years to come. All I can do is pray and give it to God everything works out the way it supposes to. Maybe there is a better vision I haven't seen. For now, we just need some good old faith and LOTS of prayers.

⚠️⚠️⚠️ Attention.... my old employees.. The day you started with me whatever address you gave is where your W-2's will go once they are processed in January. If you moved since day one because over the years you just picked up from the Dinner. Guess what? No pickup point this year. So PM address changes if any by the end of the month. Or you will be waiting to do your taxes. Melanie

Yesterday was a bitter sweet day. Going to Danny service was so uplifting for me. To be honest I didn't want to go. I'm not much on services I rather think they are on vacation, just busy haven't had time to come by other than I won't see them again anytime soon. Service felt like it was speaking to me on never giving up. It fuel my soul with more fire even more. I actually showed my concept to a few people and pitch my ideas and dreams. They were in love with it. They also reminded me back in the day when we use to do those special little events at the ice cream shop they loved so much. Their commitment was this was always your vision just taking you a little bit longer to get there. ❤️ I pray our plans work and we get the support we need for the vision to come full circle. As for Danny God bless you and your family. You all have been part of my family for over 17 years from day one when I opened my first little ice cream shop. I'm just sorry he won't be able to enjoy the next version of Melanie's. I believe this part is the hardest watching and seeing our customers move on to the Lord over the years. Danny you will always shine in my heart in history as one of the greatest guy I know. Only a handful has measured up to that title. Xoxo

Even though we aren't open. I wanted each and every one of you to know we appreciate you all very much. Even though we went through this horrible stage in our lives I'm still forever grateful for you all and what it has shown me. So many of you all gave in so many ways in words, money, love and encouragement to continue onto the next chapter. I promise we are still moving into the next chapter unfortunately things do take time. I pray we will be open by this time next year if not sooner but it's not in my hands. So, we will see. Until then just know we are looking forward to giving you all back what you are longing for and then some. Hope you all enjoy you family time today and are as thankful as I'm for what I do have. I beyond excited. I have been looking and looking for a design concept for the new restaurant. I always said when I see it, I will know. Well, there was one picture that popped up couple of times never consecrated on it. Today I looked at it and something said this is IT... Now there are a lot of hoops to jump through still so things could change you never know. But as of this moment I'm excited beyond words can describe. I feel in my soul this place will check off the boxes that everyone is wanting so badly. And it will still feel like home. Looking forward to 2025 and what it has in stored for all of us in Williston I hope I make you all happy and proud of being part of this journey with me.
