Hi everyone! It’s been about a year and a half since my dad’s stroke and he has improved so much. With things being more steady, my mom really wants to keep selling her food.
She and I have decided to open a home cafe called Kumo-Cha. She’ll have her popular dishes available for take out and I (Kim) will be making drinks like matcha and tea.
We will be officially open on Thursday, Oct. 23. To order, send us a message on Instagram (linked below) with what you would like to order and when would be a good time to pickup. Preorder for our opening is available now. Thank you so much for your continued support!

Hi everyone! Our dad is finally home and he’s doing great. He’s getting speech and physical therapy every week and he’s made a lot of progress. We’ve also put your generous donations to good use and installed a wheelchair lift. He loves it and uses it daily. We are able to take him on walks and he likes to spend time with our mom in the garden.

We’d also like you all to know that we were recently able to share your messages with him and he was moved to tears and immensely grateful. Every day is a challenge for him, but he is extremely motivated and wishes to get better soon. Once again, thank you so much for your support 💙

Hi everyone. Our dad is finally out of the hospital and he’s currently at acute rehab. He still has a long way to go, but he’s doing much better and we hope he continues to make progress. Thank you for your continued support. 💙

Starting from today, we will now be closing on Sundays but will be reopening near the end of August.
