Much respect to Anthony from Phil’s Pizza in Syosset for the kind words and for mentioning Gino’s Pizzeria in Williston Park.
Hearing someone say that our Sicilian was “the best on the planet… hands down” is truly humbling, and we genuinely appreciate and respect that statement....especially coming from someone who understands the craft and the work behind this business.
More than anything, what means the most to us is knowing that Gino’s became part of people’s lives and memories over the years. Statements and memories like this mean more to us than any plaque, trophy, ranking, or award ever could.
Pizza has always been subjective, and everybody connects to different places for different reasons. So knowing people still remember the Sicilian slices, the taste, and the moments shared at Gino’s years later is something that truly touches our hearts.
To be part of someone’s memories and leave an imprint on their life in some small way is the greatest honor we could ever ask for.
Thank you for letting us be a small taste of memory for so many people.
