We are so very excited to have Love Fosters Hope as our Mission of the Month for the last week of May (our first week of business) and June. Buttermilk Cafe is the work of Buttermilk Gives Foundation - each month we will bring awareness and financial support to a different non-profit organization that is doing amazing work for children, families, veterans and our community! Love Fosters Hope provides summer camp and support to foster children! It's summer camp season, and we are delighted to share with you about this fabulous organization. Through the simple act of enjoying a meal at the cafe, you're making a difference!

Thank you for an amazing first week! Your encouragement, kindness and patience as we navigate unknown waters has lifted our spirits. We will be closed on Mondays for the Summer as we use this time to improve processes and train so we can serve you better and faster! I now understand why many restaurants don’t cook from scratch anymore. Mounds of dirty dishes, training, staffing and labor costs make it tough, but it’s worth it! 💪 I have fallen in love 🥰 with this beautiful community and thank you from the bottom of my heart! What a week! It’s been exhilarating for the Buttermilk team to welcome in so many friends from Willis and the surrounding area. A dream come true!

Now, as we get ready for our first Saturday, we want to let everyone know that we are going to do our absolute best to serve everyone the Buttermilk way - with amazing food, a beautiful environment, great service and a big smile. We expect a busy day, and that’s wonderful! Please relax, enjoy your meal and have grace as we serve our weekend guests. ❤️

It has been an incredible week at Buttermilk Cafe as we had a soft opening of the espresso bar & bakery! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for coming to see us! We wanted to take a moment to share these sweet photos of some of our bakery team hard at work to provide delicious goodies to our community - all for a good cause! These young women are accomplished bakers!

We also want to let you know that this work is new to most of our staff! Please be patient with us as we learn and grow and work incredibly hard to provide the best food and experience at the cafe! We have the heart, and now we’re learning our roles and refining our work. Thank you for being alongside us for the journey! We’re a cafe with a cause and LOVE our amazing team.❤️
