Town Council unanimously approved a site plan that the Planning Commission recommended for approval at their last meeting. This new construction will provide 2-bedroom upscale apartments. Applications for rentals will be available through Riley Drawdy through November 2026. The construction completion will depend on buildable weather. The property is located at Tax Map 341-3-D-38 - off of Upland St.

Data from the comprehensive plan reflects a housing vacancy rate of less than 1% in Hillsville. This new construction will provide needed upscale housing in alignment with the current comprehensive plan for the future of Hillsville's housing needs. A depiction of the plans are pictured below.
