Bye for Now.

It is with a mix of bittersweet emotions that we announce the closure of Stone Row (formerly known as Cafemantic) after 15 incredible years.

This journey, from a small coffee shop to a beloved dining destination, would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our incredible community. Thank you for sharing in our passion, for embracing our vision, and for creating countless cherished memories with us.

We will deeply miss the laughter, the conversations, and the sense of community we've built within these walls.

While this chapter closes, our commitment to bringing joy through food continues. We're thrilled to announce that we'll be embarking on a new adventure at Stix n' Stones in Storrs, starting in February, and continuing our farm-to-fork journey at the Little Dipper Farm in Brooklyn.

Stix n’ Stones will honor Stone Row gift cards following an official announcement in the not too distant future.

Housemade Biscuits and Gravy with chorizo sausage and fried eggs.

Braised Heritage Breed Pork Belly Bowl featuring seasoned potatoes, onions, bell peppers, a fried egg, and toast.

And of course, we'll be toasting in the New Year with mimosas, bellinis or bloody Mary’s.

Our Story

Stone Row is where local means something. Over the past decade, this destination restaurant and bar in Willimantic, Connecticut has become a community cornerstone — both as a gathering place for the neighborhood and as a showcase for regional farmers, foragers and fishers. The seasonal, chef-driven menu has earned fans near and far. Formerly known as Cafémantic, which received an “excellent” rating in The New York Times, the independent operation started a new chapter in 2020 by relaunching as Stone Row, a brand that honors the tenacious spirit and industrial heritage of the ex-mill town.
