We are trying to wrap our heads around celebrating two centuries, 200 years of this amazing building, The Eagle House. We are busy planning and working on a year-long celebration with events, music and of course, menu specials throughout 2027. Our first stop is to collaborate on a Bicentennial Brew. We love imagining what it was like in the beginning here, swinging open the front door, horses and wagons hitched out front and visitors making the stop in the new frontier. For decades The Eagle House along with the Hanny & Browne families have been welcoming people through it's doors for rest, hot meals and refreshing spirits. We're carrying on that tradition by partnering with a locally owned Buffalo brewery for a custom Eagle House libation! Stay tuned for all the fun and we hope you will make the stop to help us celebrate soon!

If these walls could talk.... almost two centuries of gatherings, celebrations and bringing people together. The Holland Land Co. surveyed the area and came upon The Eagle House. We can only imagine the bustling Main Street of a pioneer town sprouting up between Buffalo and Batavia. They decreed regarding The Eagle House "bird, beef and bottle and a bed for the weary traveler." We're so proud today, through five generations of our family, to carry on that fine tradition of welcoming visitors and the stewardship of taking care of a beautiful tavern.
