Saturday, August 15th

Breakfast service will be available from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Parking restrictions on Market Street will commence at 9:00 AM on Saturday. Subsequent to 9:00 AM, our patrons are requested to utilize the Legion parking facility located at Market and West Streets, or the auxiliary parking lot situated behind the Legion.

Following the conclusion of breakfast service at 11:00 AM, the parking lot will be accessible for public use in anticipation of the parade.

The Lykens Fire Company Band is scheduled to perform in the Memorial Parking area beginning at 11:30 AM.

The Legion will provide outdoor seating on the sidewalk adjacent to its premises, offering complimentary water, chips, and pretzels throughout the concert and parade.

The Legion canteen will be offering hamburgers and hot dogs for purchase.

We encourage your attendance to support the town's 200th-anniversary parade.

The Bicentennial Committee has demonstrated exceptional planning and ex*****on over the past year in preparation for this week's events, which have culminated in a truly remarkable celebration.

Commendations to the Bicentennial Committee for a job exceptionally well done.

Friday, August 14th

Our special for Friday evening is Peel and Eat Shrimp. The standard Friday night menu will also be offered. This shrimp special is being held on a Friday instead of the usual second Thursday due to a planned vacation.

The kitchen will be open from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Food service is available to the public; however, only members and their authorized guests are permitted to purchase alcoholic beverages.

As the Bicentennial celebration is scheduled to commence this Saturday, with festivities starting at 11 a.m. at the playground , the old swimming pool area, we would like to inform you that breakfast at the legion will conclude at 10:30 a.m. this Saturday. This adjustment is being made to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to fully enjoy our town's Bicentennial Celebration.
