Tomato basil bisque is on! The coffee shop is open until 1pm!

In other news, we are late in posting our from our friend Dorothy of A Joyful Line.

Wait...what? Yeppers, we've added Chef Ray's tomato basil bisque to our coffee shop menu! Come on out to let us know if you would like to see soup all week!

Coffee shop hours are Mondays through Wednesdays, 7am-1pm before we return to our regular restaurant hours starting Thursdays.

Happy Sunday! What a beautiful morning it is!

Come on out for brunch today! Our featured item is our fresh strawberry and yogurt pancakes!

We accept call-aheads 15 minutes before your arrival at 517-242-1810.

Remember, we still don't have an open sign (it died last week 😳), but we are here today!



PD: on a twist of our usual Sunday photo, Ray enjoyed taking a picture of Chef Carrie taking her morning downtown photograph. She is standing outside in the shadows, facing east with her arms up holding her phone. She is wearing her apron and her straw fedora hat she "stole" from Ray .

Reposting this to say after listening to our friends' suggestions and thinking about this more, we will be open from 7am - 1pm on Mondays through Wednesdays. Changing our hours beyond Wednesday is to be determined.

We have some big news, Williamston!! Starting this Monday, we will be open as That New Place Coffee Shop from 7am-1pm for coffee, espresso drinks, and cookies. Restaurant hours remain Thursday - Sunday.

So, come say hello and enjoy a latte made with local espresso from The 517 Coffee Company.

This experiment is for a trial basis, so please stop by to let us know what you think.

New England clam chowder is back on the menu! The photo below shows a cup paired with our savory mushroom stroganoff and colcannon (mashed potatoes) galette special. It includes a fried egg and mixed greens with our lemon vinaigrette.

Happy ! And we have the specials for you this week!!

This week's featured item, we have Chef Carrie's fresh strawberry and yogurt pancakes garnished with strawberry jam, honey yogurt and our housemade granola. It will be available Thursday - Sunday.

Carrie has been making a version of this recipe since, well, since before Kate was born. Come in this week to tell us you want to see pancakes on our specials board more often!

Chef Ray's soup this week is New England clam chowder. Always a quick seller, so dine in only, please.
