Mr. Sticky's will be here! 😎
The Morris Rattlesnake Round-Up is set for June 13 and 14, 2026 in Morris, near Wellsboro, and it is exactly the kind of Pennsylvania Wilds event that makes people stop scrolling and go, “Wait, this is real?” Hosted by the Morris Township Fire Company, the weekend is part small-town festival, part outdoor tradition, part “only in PA” conversation starter. The fire company lists the event with a craft and flea market, a one-pitch softball tournament, food, fireworks, live entertainment, breakfast, and concessions, so it is not just about rattlesnakes. It is a full-blown community weekend with enough going on that somebody is absolutely leaving with a funnel cake, a flea market find, and a story they will tell at work Monday.
What makes this one great is how deeply Pennsylvania it feels. It is rural, weird in the best way, locally run, food-heavy, and built around the kind of tradition you do not fully understand until you are standing there with BBQ smoke in the air, kids running around, somebody talking softball, and half the crowd acting like a rattlesnake round-up is the most normal weekend plan in the world. The food lineup alone feels like a PA fairground greatest hits list: chicken BBQ, sausage, hot dogs, Texas hots, kraut dogs, pulled pork, cheeseburgers, fresh-cut fries, curly fries, funnel cakes, and ice cream. That is the pull of Morris: a niche event with real local flavor, big comment-section energy, and the kind of small-town chaos Pennsylvania somehow turns into a tradition.
