Haymaker’s Restaurant and Country Store opened for business on April 1, 2014 in Williams, Indiana. Christy and Michael Haymaker are the operators and proprietors. Christy and Michael have lived in Bedford for three (3) years and it has been a goal for both of them to open their own restaurant for more than eight years. Christy has more than 12 years of restaurant experience as a General Manager fo

r companies such as Denny’s, Shoney’s, and Einstein Bros Bagels. Michael has a year and a half of General Manger and Assistant District Manager experience with Waffle House. Haymaker’s is available for breakfast, lunch and provides a dinner special nightly all of which can be carryout. The restaurant serves a blend of ‘Southern’ Cooking and American Cuisine, providing all entrées for less than ten (10) dollars. The restaurant has seating available for 34 people with eight (8) seats located on the covered porch with a view of the Williams’ Dam and East Fork of the White River. The porch also provides a limited smoking area for customers.
