What a turn out we had Tuesday! Our Sweet Smitty’s community showed up in a HUGE way for Emily Danhoff and her family. ❤️

After Emily’s serious car accident and being life flighted, we wanted to do something to help support her during the long road ahead.

Thanks to all of YOU — our customers, staff, friends, and community — we were able to donate $8,333.01 to Emily and her family.

We truly cannot thank everyone enough who came out, shared the post, donated, waited in long lines, or simply kept Emily in your thoughts and prayers. The amount of support shown was incredible and a reminder of how special this community really is.
Please continue to keep Emily and her family in your prayers as she continues her recovery. ❤️

What an incredible Donation Day for Emily. We are beyond grateful for the overwhelming support from our community, friends, family, and customers. The amount of love shown today was truly amazing.

A huge thank you to all of the volunteers who came in to help make today possible, we couldn’t have done it without you. Special thank you to Brevon for making and donating the support t-shirts for Emily. All of your generosity means more than words can say.

We are also so proud of our girls today. They worked so hard and absolutely crushed it through the rush while continuing to support such an important cause.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you all for showing up for Emily and her family. The donations, support, prayers, and kindness have meant everything. ❤️

Tomorrow, May 12, Sweet Smitty's will host a benefit fundraiser for Emily Danhoff, who was recently involved in a car accident. Emily is a seasonal employee at the Willard Park and Recreation, as well as at Sweet Smitty's. In a show of support, Sweet Smitty's will donate 100% of its profits to Emily and her family to help cover medical expenses.

We anticipate a large turnout from our generous community; therefore, the City of Willard and Sweet Smitty's have worked together to ensure everyone's safety during this special event. As a result, the front entrance of Sweet Smitty's off US 224 will be closed during the event. We kindly ask everyone to use the back entrance off Rae Court (see the map for details).

💔 Our Sweet Smitty’s family needs us right now.

One of our own, Emily Danhoff, was involved in a very serious car accident. She was life-flighted and, while she is now out of the ICU, she is still fighting and has a long road ahead.

Emily is strong, and we’re standing behind her every step of the way—but she and her family have a long journey ahead.

Next Tuesday May 12th, we’re coming together as a community to support her and her family.

🍦 ALL DAY TUESDAY— Sweet Smitty’s Willard
100% of profits from the entire day will be donated to Emily and her family.

➡️ We will also be accepting additional donations at the shop for anyone who wants to give more.

We’re asking everyone—friends, families, surrounding communities—to show up BIG.
