On 9/11, thousands of men and women ran into the World Trade Center not knowing if they would come out. Firefighters, police officers, and even bystanders risked their lives without hesitation to save others.
The next day, America felt different. We lost so much, but we gained more. On 9/12 we were united, strong and indivisible. We loved our neighbors and put aside our differences to come together in support of this great country. We collectively chose to never forget.
This summer we got to feel that again as we celebrated 250 years of America with our decorated restaurant and Spirits of 1776 Bar.
Our goal was always more than just decorations. It was about unity, peace, and compassion. It was about bringing people together. It was about honoring every sacrifice that was made over 250 years. We created a space where people could put their differences aside and celebrate America, just like we did on 9/12.
Today we are saying a prayer. We’re thanking the men and women who risked their lives. We’re asking God to bless their families left behind. We’re praying that the thousands of survivors suffering medical issues today are relieved of their pain.
Most of all, we’re praying that America is once again united in peace 🇺🇸
