We want to take a moment to give the BIGGEST thank you to Dr. Mike and the entire team at the Animal Clinic of Wildwood for everything they have done for the animals in our community — and for our own fur babies.
Dr. Mike has been there for us time and time again. From helping the bird we found with a broken wing, to caring for the cat who was dumped in our neighborhood, to performing emergency surgery on one of our own dogs, we have seen firsthand the compassion, dedication, and kindness this practice gives to animals and their families.
Most recently he helped with Broccoli, the sweet cat who was found dumped in West Wildwood. Broccoli had been adopted from a shelter in Gloucester County less than six weeks earlier, but instead of being returned to the shelter when things didn’t work out, he was sadly dumped.
We captured him, brought him to safety, and brought him to Dr. Mike. He thoroughly checked him over, treated him for fleas and ticks, addressed his health needs, and helped us get him healthy and ready for a new chapter.
Broccoli is now Maurice — and thanks to a village of caring people, he has found a new, loving home where he is safe, wanted, and cared for.
Because we know there will always be another animal who needs help, we are now accepting donations that will go directly to Dr. Mike and Animal Clinic of Wildwood. These donations will help provide care for future animals in need and offer a helping hand to owners who may be struggling financially but desperately want to do right by their pets.
Thank you, Dr. Mike, for always answering the call. Thank you for caring for the animals who have no voice, and for helping the people who love them. And thank you to everyone who has helped Maurice and the many other animals along the way. It truly takes a village.
