Hi guys! With all the 52years of Chico's Mexican Restaurant , we have been through decades of serving Wichita ks has come to an end . Recessions, construction, floods on west st, we fought hard to keep going for many years, but ever since covid hit, we couldn't keep up anymore . When I was 2yr my mother said I didnt like being at the restaurant, so I would hide under the booths. At 27yr I remember everyone asking me... "you're the owner, no way, you're too young!" When you do what you do with all your heart, it doesn't seem like that long, now that I've owned it 28 years, I got lots of hugs and kisses and best wishes from everyone i held it in and said .. I am strong , I got this , dont cry.... I didnt cry.. but when 8pm came around , closing time, I said. " ok guys lock it up!" I felt this hurt and pain of not continuing a dream I had many years 💔 ..I lost it and cried my heart out... that click of the closed door did it!!! I love you all and thank you for supporting my family and I so many years ,
