Good morning everyone- I have decided to take the advice that so many of you gave me and take another day off to rest and heal. The good news is that I am feeling a lot better but I think taking one more day to rest is a good idea. I look forward to being back to work on Friday, January 9th. Thank you for all of the kind words, well wishes, and advice- I really do appreciate it. ❤️

While I wish that I could be writing an update telling y’all all of the fun things I did over my New Year break, that is not the update I get to write.
I woke up New Year’s morning with an almost unbearable pain in my stomach and soon decided it was time to head to the hospital and see what was going on. If you know me, it takes a lot for me to admit I’m not feeling well and it takes even more for me to want to go to the ER. Once I got there it was pretty clear that I had appendicitis. Unfortunately it was a holiday and it took quite awhile before I was able to head back to surgery. During that time my appendix burst. Let me tell you, I give that experience 0/5 stars, definitely do not recommend.
That being said, I was waiting to see how I felt today before I decided what to do this week. My body is telling me to keep resting, and I’m going to listen to it.
We’ll be closed Tuesday 1/6 and Wednesday 1/7 so I can continue to heal. Thank you in advance for understanding and showing me grace during this time. The plan for now is to open up on Thursday 1/8.
I appreciate all of you and hope to see you soon.
