Today is our last day as the operators of Placeholder. We’re still hoping to find some human(s) to take the torch and continue bringing coffee and hospitality to downtown Wichita. Announcements will be made here if and when there is news on that front. In the meantime, Placeholder will be closed.

Placeholder was born out of curiosity and a tongue-in-cheek nod to the transitory nature of existence. Thanks for joining us on the journey.

Love who and what you love for as long as you can. Let go of what no longer serves you. Cultivate space for paradox and mystery. Let pain lead you to joy. When fear narrows your vision and closes your heart, breathe deeply, look around, and lean into curiosity.

Freshly-baked, house-made smoked sea salt chocolate chip cookies. We thought about everything we wanted in a chocolate chip cookie and Jubilee made one that hits all the right notes. Come get one before we eat them all.
