I want to give a HUGE thank you to everyone who stopped by Taco Fest of Wichita Falls yesterday and purchased from Carmelita's Churros ! 🥰💕
I’m not going to lie—the day had a pretty rough start. I had a whole meltdown at home because I wanted to get there early, but I was already running behind. I had even stayed up late making Korean Corndogs because I know y’all have been asking for them…but unfortunately, that didn’t go as planned. 😓
Once we got there, my generator was only powering half of my equipment, and I had no idea why. I don’t know anything about generators, but there I was trying to figure it out while also making churros, waffles on a stick, and Korean Corndogs. 😭 I’m sure some people saw me flipping out on my son and daughter because I finally told them, “I CAN’T DO EVERYTHING!” 😂 So, I made the decision not to sell the Korean Corndogs or waffles so we could focus on the churros. 😔
I am truly grateful for my daughter Gloriana Irene, Svull Durvn, and Eric for helping me and dealing with me through all the craziness. I really do try to stay calm and work through everything…but yesterday was testing me! 😂
I also want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to Reagan Trejo and Kobe! Y’all helped us out so much, and I truly can’t thank you enough—because all of us were about to go wrestle it out in the ring after los luchadores! 😆🤣🤣🤣
To all of our customers, thank you so much for your patience! I sincerely apologize that it took longer than usual to get your churros. That wind was NOT letting me make it! 😩 I finally had to ask for help, and I’m so grateful for Outlaw Outfitters for always being willing to help me—or anyone else—when needed. 💕
Once again, thank you all so much for supporting us! We are still learning as we go. I’m also trying to be more social, step outside of my comfort zone, and push past my awkwardness so I can get to know more of my fellow vendors and customers. 🥰
