🎆Reminder! The Rend Lake Conservancy District is hosting the 4th of July Celebration this weekend! Fireworks start at 9:15 p.m. on Friday, July 3 at the Rend Lake Golf Complex.
WHERE TO WATCH:
🎆 Rend Lake Golf Complex - the main event area including free parking, a rodeo, kids inflatables, food trucks, handicap parking, and a designated viewing area for a guaranteed good show!
🎆 South Sandusky Beach - look to the north east for optimal viewing! Food trucks onsite and expanded beach hours for fireworks viewing!
🎆 Spillway Recreation Area - look to the north for optimal viewing, large parking lot to accommodate visitors
**North Marcum Beach will not have expanded beach hours. The area will close at sunset 3 July.

🚨CAMPER AND TRAFFIC INFORMATION:
Traffic Restrictions:
🚗Starting at NOON on July 3, Golf Course Drive will be restricted to Golf Complex visitors, Gun Creek campers, and their guests. Expect heavier-than-normal traffic in the evening. Visitors to the campgrounds MUST know campsite number and last name on the reservation to enter.
🚗Traffic leaving the fireworks event will only be able to go north on Larry Foster Pkwy to Illinois HWY 154.
