Serving YOU over the last 8 years was my passion! Thank you ALL for the outpouring of love this past week and a half! My heart is broken yet full. I am humbled and full of emotion. You truly made me feel appreciated, through your texts, phone calls, messages, comments, and final orders! This chapter of my life may be closed, but as they say, "when one door closes, another will open". I look forward to seeing what door will open!

This has been one of the toughest most emotional weeks of my life! I'm not sure how I would have gotten through without the love from all of you that reached out to send me your feelings of gratitude and sense of loss as well.

There is still time to place orders until SUNDAY 7PM. Pickup will be TUESDAY 2-6PM.

For those looking to purchase frozens or smoothies etc, there is still some left, but don't wait too long, I have a feeling I may sell out. At this point I need to take these items off the online ordering so I don't over sell what I don't have. So anyone wanting those items it will be first come first serve on Tuesday 12-5.

I put a picture of the Elderberry Syrup here because I have been asked by a few people if I still have some. I have 7 left. If you want Elderberry Syrup, I suggest placing an order NOW and I will put them aside. When I run out I will take it off the menu.

I am overwhelmed with emotions from all of your amazing comments! I don't think I ever realized how many people really did appreciate what I offered. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all your words of encouragement, appreciation, and well wishes for my future.

In the meantime, there is still ONE WEEK for you to come and get some meals, sauces, spices, smoothies and more.
You will notice I have added a banner on the website announcing UP TO 50% OFF some of your favorites....
Frozen meals, Burgers, Smoothies, Cookies, Sauces, Pesto, Spices etc, are available at a steep discount. Please note: stock up on all the frozens (meals, burgers, cookies, smoothies, pesto). These will be good for about 6 months if you keep them frozen until you are ready to enjoy.

In addition, because the SMOOTHIES are frozen, and they will last a while frozen, so if you buy 10, you will save $10.
$6 each, 10 or more $5 each- (I will give you the $10 cash back when you come to pick up.

Ok so, for the next week, if you are ordering fresh meals, subscriptions etc, you will need to follow the days/times for pickup. You may purchase these additional sale items at pickup with the discount shown if they are not part of your order.

If you are just interested in the items I mentioned above, you may come and pick up Tuesdays, 10-5, Wed 12-5, Thurs 10-1. No need to place an order online for these items, however if you want me to put them aside for you please send me an email with item and quantity to [email protected]

It is with the heaviest of hearts that I announce The Green Plate @ Home will be closing on Tuesday, September 30th.

This is the toughest decision I have had to make. I have put my heart and soul in to this business for almost 8 years. These last couple of years have been very challenging. I made many changes and adjustments to keep things going. That is what you saw from the outside. Behind the scenes, I kept pouring money in to this passion I have, spending countless hours, days and months trying to figure out ways to market, branch out and reach new customers, offer new exciting meals, etc. It just has not been enough.

It is hard to believe that 8 Years ago I announced that I would be opening up a cafe offering 100% Gluten Free options. What started out as a place for people with Celiac or Gluten intolerances, Dairy Free and Vegans to feel safe, grew in to a space where anyone who wanted to just eat healthier and still enjoy their meals. It has been a roller coaster ride of ups and downs, but one thing has always stood out to me. No matter what changes I made or adjustments I needed to embrace as a business owner, I had a community of customers who became friends and continued to support and believe in me. It is because of YOU that I kept my heart in the game and pushed through the obstacles in front of me.

Unfortunately it takes more than heart, dedication, long hours and passion that keep a small business afloat. I am feeling broken, embarrassed, and deeply saddened that this chapter has come to end for me, but I am also SO grateful for the last 8 years of sharing my passion with you all. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to give me heart and soul in to something I was passionate about, and you embraced it.

Thank you all so much for your support over the years, for your love and appreciation for what I had to offer. I will post more about the next couple weeks, so for those of you who want to get what you can while I am still here, please stay tuned. As for now, you may continue to place orders through Sunday, September 28th. The last pickup day will be Tuesday, September 30th.

I have had a great response to the CRAB CAKES. Although the "season" for them is running out, I decided to keep them on the menu for another couple of weeks (or until I run out). So if you love them, this is your chance to get your fill. If you haven't tried them yet and do enjoy crab cakes, this is your last chance to try mine. Just an FYI, I use real crab meat and not very much panko, so you are enjoying the flavor of crab, not filler. Oh and you get a side of my coleslaw and homemade remoulade sauce.
