Ode to the Elusive Front Door

“We’re working on the corner,” the construction foreman said,
“A few more days and we’ll be done; just circle the block instead.”
But the detour is a puzzle and the parking takes a hike.
The gravel-riddled footpaths we thoroughly dislike.

Construction barrels and plastic fence do not safe access make.
Our Silver Spring has just sprung orange and your pretext takes the cake.
So complete this ravaged corner, Clark Dietz, Inc., and please do so with haste.
Our elusive front door is still open wide, if only our guests have a way.

Here’s a MOXIE Pro Tip:
When you come, do not park on Diversey. There is no safe, quick way to park on Diversey and get to MOXIE during the current construction. Rather, park on Silver Spring Drive, the lot behind Associated Bank, or the lot behind Winkies. So, make a reservation, plan for a little extra time, and watch your step around the gravel and concrete. We’ll be waiting for you—wine in hand!
