A little peek behind the paper… 👀☕️

We’ve been busy behind the scenes at Across the Board! Renovations are underway, and we’ve also been working with Gillespie’s on updated branding and new signage for the outside of the café. There are lots of little pieces coming together, and we’re getting so excited to show you the finished space!

But first, we need your help with one of the decisions. 🎨

The bottom half of our walls will be Ultra White, and we’ve narrowed the top half down to FOUR colors we love.

Swipe through the photos and tell us your favorite:

Oyster Bar • Dover White • Cappuccino Foam • September Fog

Each photo shows the color alongside the Ultra White and the wood tones we’ll be using in the café, so you can see how everything works together.

Which one would you choose? Tell us below! 👇

And don’t worry—we’ll be sharing more little renovation peeks along the way. We can’t wait to welcome you back into Across the Board! 🎲☕️

Today, we remember. 🇺🇸

Twenty-five years ago today, our nation experienced a day that changed us forever. We remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the first responders, service members, and everyday Americans who showed extraordinary courage in the days that followed.

Although Across the Board is currently closed while we work on renovations, we are opening for the fall season at The Hanna Farmstead this weekend.

As a small token of our gratitude, all active-duty military, veterans, and first responders will receive 25% off farm admission September 11–13.

We are incredibly thankful for those who have served and continue to serve our country and our communities.

May we always remember those we lost, honor those who answered the call, and never forget the unity our country showed in the days that followed.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Paper is up… renovations are starting! 🎲☕️

Across the Board has been a dream for Alex and me, right alongside The Hanna Farmstead. We wanted to create a place where families could come together, have fun, enjoy good food and drinks, and make memories year-round—even when fall at the farm is over.

Now, we’re ready to give this little space some love. 🤍

Over the next several weeks, we’ll be updating, refreshing, rearranging and making Across the Board an even better place to Eat. Play. Win.

We’ll be sharing sneak peeks and updates along the way, so you can follow the transformation with us!

And while our doors are covered in paper, you don’t have to go without your ATB favorites—come see us at The Hanna Farmstead! 🎃☕️🍦

We’re so excited to see this vision come together.

Are you as excited as we are?! 👀

We cannot thank you enough for your continued support as ATB has grown. We’re so excited to give our current space a much-needed refresh and welcome you back into an updated ATB!

🔨 A Little Renovation Break is Coming!

We’ve looked at the calendar, worked around our fall schedule, and tried to figure out the best time to pull this off—and we’ve decided it’s time to give Across the Board a little revamp!

This week will be our last week open before renovations begin Monday, August 31.

Our goal is to have everything completed in about a month, but as with any renovation, timelines can change. We’ll keep you updated along the way and share plenty of sneak peeks as things start coming together!

This December, Across the Board will celebrate 3 years, and a lot has changed since we first opened our doors. We’ve grown, our menu has grown, and our business model has grown right along with us. We want our space to better reflect what ATB has become—and give us room to keep growing into what comes next.

We know this is fairly short notice, and we apologize for any inconvenience. But don’t worry—we aren’t going anywhere! We’re just taking a little time to make the space even better for you when you come back. ❤️

☕ Already wondering how you’ll survive without your ATB coffee and specialty drink fix? Come see us at The Hanna Farmstead during our fall season! You’ll still be able to find plenty of your favorites there.

🚗 We’re also tossing around the idea of having a few ATB delivery days while the café is closed. Would you be interested? Let us know in the comments!

And one more thing—we’ll be HIRING for our reopening! Keep an eye on our page for more information coming soon.

For now, come get your ATB fix this week before renovations begin!

Thank you for growing with us over these nearly three years. We seriously cannot wait for you to see what’s next.

Same ATB. A fresh new look. We’ll see you soon! 🎲☕

We may be closing a little earlier during Fair Week, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t still working on some BIG things behind the scenes! 👀☕️

We’ve been busy prepping and testing our fall drink menus for both Across the Board AND The Hanna Farmstead… and we may have already started experimenting with a few possible Christmas drinks, too. 🎄

Of course, somebody has to make sure they’re good enough before they make the menu. 😉

This past week, we took our first round of taste testing over to our friends at First Citizens Bank in White Sulphur Springs and let their crew be our official taste testers! We had so much fun sharing what we’ve been working on and getting their feedback.

Now we need to know… where should the next taste test go?!

Tag or comment a local business that has a crew who would be up for the very “difficult” job of trying some new ATB drinks and telling us what they think. 😂

We love getting to involve other businesses in our community in the fun—and you never know where we might show up next! ❤️
