Recently the sweetest man who shared a birthday with me passed away on our service. I was blessed to be able to attend his death.

Bubbas Brew pays for donates these beautiful hearts to provide for the families when a patient passes. His daughters knew this and donations in honor of him were made for the hearts. I cried the happiest tears when they told me they would be doing so.
Today I received a check to pay for the next 50 hearts. ♥️

I want to first say I’m posting this as Kelsey personally & I know in a small town it’s hard to have a separation between personal and business.

So. First of all. -What the f***?
Now that that is out of the way.

Ali is an amazing barista. In fact on of the best. Period.
Do you remember her as a young girl first starting at bubbas? I do. Or do you remember when she first told you all she was pregnant?! I sure do. When she worked until a couple weeks before having baby Des?! Or. When she came back to work with that tiny baby strapped to her chest?! He’s a toddler now yes BUT. She still makes it work & we’ve experienced mother hood with Ali. And I am so thankful for that. She is THE BEST momma.

& Today is the first day of school. There for we are BUSY! & I love that & hope your morning goes great! & maybe that you got a mighty bruin that 50% of the proceeds go to our local high school football team.😉

But. Hers it is. As a single mom for 5 years I can't begin to tell you how many time I wish I would have had the opportunity to bring my child with me to work if I could have more often. & in fact when my ex husband and I first divorced I did have a boss that let me do that and it changed mine and my son's life. I would not be a nurse if Lucinda didn’t work with me and meet me where I was in life.

I pride myself in very little things in life.
1-Being a good mom
2-Being a hard worker
3-Being caring and giving
4-Being the best boss I can for my girls & being able to meet my girls where they are at in all seasons of life.

All of my employees children are treated the same. An that means treated like my own. We are a family business and that looks different everyday. & honestly if you would rather not support my family orientated business that gives back to our local communities? Well. Starbucks is across the river don’t forget bridge toll will go up soon too. But that’s a topic for another day.

Can you believe two years ago, we bought the bz coffee shop?! Since then, we’ve shared countless drinks & conversations with this absolutely incredible community that has supported us every step of the way. We are deeply grateful to every customer, friend, and neighbor who has made Bubbas BZ feel like home. I am especially grateful to my employees. Kaycee, Bailey, Rachel and Whittney have been with me since day one. They are the glue that holds us together. I look forward to you all getting to know some new faces and seeing some old ones as well.
