MONDAY - This week's soup is our housemade Sausage Cabbage with Lobster Bisque scheduled for Friday. This weekend was a very busy time for both John Marshall and Wheeling Park. Homecoming and 50th class reunions were celebrated, and we were delighted to meet so many returning to the area. Stay tuned for Tuesday. Hopefully, we'll get our hands on those green tomatoes.

WEDNESDAY - How much fun is this? Our crêpe flour is milled in Mentor, Ohio, and it recently came under new ownership. We were gifted this carved Halloween pumpkin today by the new owner, who carved it himself! I think his talent goes beyond batter. FIRST DAY of FALL!
