The finished product, thanks to Diane for decorating because goodness knows what this would look like if I did it! (2 layers are out of my skill set, so 6?!?)
The fun part will be cutting it into slices and figuring out what packaging will work!

An early post since the algorithm doesn’t like a normal post on Saturday night.
Tomorrow we are open 12-3, will have lots of special items including a few savory options and it will be the last day to lock in current pricing. You can order online today or tomorrow to pick up next week but Monday June 1st most items will be increasing at 10-15 percent.
We have watched small business after small business shutter in recent months and we get it. Things are challenging to say the least, and this week was our slowest week in months. I always thought the carnival was what created a slow week for us after Memorial Day but it appears that the week after Memorial Day is just a quiet week.
The taste of Wheaton is next week/weekend but it looks like our street won’t be shut down as they are moving things further west due to the construction. We will be open all regular hours next week and weekend.

Also, prices will increase on almost all items as of June 1st, so make sure you go online and pre order before prices go up. We haven’t done a price increase in almost 2 years and given that all costs are continuing to surge, we just can’t absorb those!

Got to have a wonderful lunch with four important women in my life, and my stepdad! Delicious gf options at BJs in Orland Park, and ate so much I didn’t get hungry for dinner (that’s saying a lot!)
