Seach Parent Council - SPC All Seach parents and guardians are members of the Parent Council who organizes support and activities for the Seach community. Who are the members of SPC? YOU!

What is the Seach Parent Council? We’re a group of Seach parents that organizes support for Seach Primary School and partners with the staff to make your child’s/children’s time at Seach fun, exciting and a great learning experience. We are also individual parents and community members that want to join together in caring for the school and its students. Every parent or guardian who has a child enrolled at the school is a member of the Parent Council and encouraged to attend monthly SPC meetings. We need your energy, talent and ideas! Each one of us is needed in a variety of ways to make the Seach Parent Council a strong resource for parents, students and William Seach Primary School. What do we do?
*Organize events for fundraising to benefit Seach Primary School
*Brainstorm new ideas on ways to join forces to help Seach and the students, teachers and staff. Act on ideas and goals set! When and where does SPC meet? SPC usually meets at the school once a month during the school year. We alternate meeting times between nights and afternoons so more parents have a chance to attend. We usually meet in the school’s cafeteria.

A little sand, a LOT of color, and some very cool creations! 🌈

A huge thank you to Stacia Mott Connelly from FIRST Steps Together for hosting this week’s Seach Summer PlayDay and bringing such a fun sand art project for our kids!

We loved watching everyone choose their colors, layer their designs, and make something completely their own. 💚💙💛💜

And thank you to all of the families who came out to create, play, and spend some time together. Another fun summer night with our Seach community! ☀️

What a FUN Kids Day! 🦆💛

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our “String Together a Smile” Bracelet Bar at Weymouth Farmers Market’s Kids Day today!

We loved watching kids dig through the beads, plan their creations, string together something uniquely theirs, and proudly show off the finished product. There were a LOT of smiles made today. 💛

Every bracelet made also helped support Seach Parent Council and the fun, community-building things we have planned for our kids and families this year.

Thank you to whatsupweymouthma for having us, and to everyone who stopped by to create, chat, and support SPC.

We had an absolute blast — and judging by the bracelets walking around the market, we weren’t the only ones! 🥰📿🦆

🌼 **Little Things, Big Adventures** ✈️🪴

This week's Summer PlayDay is all about how little moments can turn into big memories!

🤞 Fingers crossed the rain holds off so we can spend the evening creating together.

This week's activities:
✈️ Fold and decorate a paper airplane, then see how far it can fly.
🪴 Paint a mini flower pot and plant flower seeds to take home.
✨ Pick out a fun temporary tattoo to top off the adventure.

Come for an activity, stay for the community, and make some summer memories with other Seach families.

Cancelled due to thunder and lightning - see you next week!

🌦️ It’s PlayDay!

We’re hoping the weather cooperates, but rain or shine we’ll be making pins & pinwheels tonight at 6:00 PM!

If it rains, we’ll gather under the Door 15 alcove and keep the fun going. Lightning is a no-go, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed for a beautiful evening. 🤞

🫧 What a great evening! 🫧

Thank you to everyone who popped in to our Seach Summer PlayDay! We had a fantastic time decorating bubble wands, making friendship bracelets, and enjoying a summer afternoon together.

Our giant bubble experiment may not have gone exactly as planned… but that’s part of the fun! There were plenty of laughs, lots of creativity, and more than a few determined kids (and adults!) trying to make the biggest bubble possible.

The best part of the afternoon wasn’t whether the bubbles cooperated—it was watching kids and parents enjoying each other’s company, meeting new families, and strengthening the sense of community that makes Seach so special.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the afternoon a success. We’re already looking forward to doing it all again next week. We hope to see you there! 💙🫧

We'll be getting together in just 3 hours for another Seach Summer PlayDay!

Come decorate your own giant bubble wand, make some BIG bubbles, and create a friendship bracelet to trade with someone new.

And here's your reminder: bubbles are only as old as your imagination - all ages welcome and encouraged to participate in the fun!

🌧️ Turns out… rainy days make pretty great PlayDays. 💙

Tonight wasn’t about perfect weather — it was about showing up, getting creative, and making connections. We painted rocks to help start our Seach Community Rock Garden, made friendship bracelets to swap, jumped in puddles, and met some friends along the way. 🪨🌈

Because community isn’t just something we talk about — it’s something we build. One rock, one bracelet, one conversation, and one rainy summer night at a time. 💚

Our first Seach Summer PlayDay kicks off tonight! Come splash in puddles, meet new friends, and help us build a little more of what makes Seach special — community. 💙

Tonight we’ll be:
🌧️ Making & swapping friendship bracelets
🪨 Painting rocks to start our Seach Community Rock Garden
🤝 Connecting with new friends (and old ones too!)

Bring your rain boots, your creativity, and your willingness to jump right in. The strongest communities aren’t built only on sunny days — sometimes they grow best when we show up together in the rain. ☔💚

Summer can be a long time without seeing our school friends, so we're keeping the connections going with a simple weekly meetup for Seach families!

📍 William Seach Elementary Playground

What can you expect?
🌼 Playground and field fun
🫧 Bubbles, simple games, and activities
🤝 Time to connect with other Seach families
💛 A relaxed, welcoming space where everyone belongs

No registration. No commitment. No pressure.

Come every week or just stop by when you can. Bring a blanket, a snack, and let the kids run and play while we enjoy some summer evenings together.

Because our Seach community doesn't take the summer off. 💙💛
