Help us celebrate ChefPatricia Bonina today! She’s starting a pretty exciting new chapter — but don’t worry, we’re not letting her get away that easily. ❤️
After 20+ years of feeding Grays Harbor at weddings, fundraisers, school events, parties and just about every kind of gathering, Chef Patricia is headed to a new adventure at Ocosta!
She’ll be our district’s new Culinary/CTE teacher, and we think she’s pretty well prepared to teach the kids what’s what. With decades of experience in food, catering, employees, customers, budgets and running a small business on the Harbor, she has a whole lot of real-world experience to bring to the classroom.
And while her day-to-day role at Aloha is changing, she’s not leaving the Aloha family. Patricia will remain a mentor and leader in our kitchen family 🥰 She’ll still be available to take the lead on our larger and more complex catering events, particularly for longtime clients she’s worked with over the years. We’re pretty lucky to get to share her with Ocosta.
Back at Aloha, Ashley and Maddie are stepping up to lead alongside our longtime crew. We have a great team and are excited to see them grow and make these roles their own. We appreciate a little grace from everyone during the transition.
And yes, we are still catering! Please use the catering form on our website for requests so we can keep everything organized. If your school, team or organization is looking for a donation, Ashley is now your gal.
