Part 2 of a Great day @ The Good Table.
A couple of special guests with friends decided to have breakfast with us this afternoon. Gina had said, " I think that is that actor." I made eye contact and heard his voice. Yup! She asked. He answered. We had Justin Long and his bride Kate Bosworth grace our restaurant. I had a nice conversation with them and of course I said, "LOVED DODGEBALL and of course --WAITING." Always exciting to see famous people in the dining room. Beautiful family, friendly, and very sweet. NORMAL😀

Today was a great day @ The Good Table. I had a sweet little boy with his Mom & Dad visit from Framingham. Young George (2.5 years or so) was in the back hallway with his dad and I invited him into the kitchen "to see his breakfast cooks" making his breakfast. I had just cut fresh pineapple and ask if he would like some. Yes!! They went to their table and Dad walked back and asked if he could get a cup of that pineapple as I had made this little persons day. Of course!!! On the house!!! No charge!!!
I walked into the dining room all few minutes later and had seen what Mom & Dad had on the plate for this little man.
Cottage cheese, diced tomato, deli turkey. THE PINEAPPLE WAS GONE! It was refreshing to see. Dad then walked back into the back kitchen and thank me and my staff for our hospitality and said they had three funerals to attend in the next few days. I know we made their day a little less stressful with young George's belly full of fresh fruit and a healthy little breakfast. That is why I love my job!!! And then this happened--read my next post.

Happy birthday America. A little extra spirit visiting The Good Table.
