Last night Nancy and I made the difficult decision to close Zita’s and cancel all remaining Guest Chef events. While the first two Guest Chef events were a modest success, overall, Zita’s was not performing to expectation with sales well below last year.

Thank you for following and supporting Zita's for the last 3 summers.

TO ALL WHO ATTENDED LAST WEEK'S GUEST CHEF EVENT
A sincere and heartfelt "thank you" from all of us at Zita's for attending last Saturday's Guest Chef event by Shane Dean. This was our first Guest Chef event, so I guess it's not surprising that we had a few "glitches". Dinner ran late into the night, but a good time was had by all (or most at least :-s) Special "thanks" to Shane who did a terrific job under grueling conditions in our tiny kitchen along with Jesse and the rest of Zita's crew who worked into the "wee hours" to clean up the mess.

Zita's will be closed for Lunch this coming Saturday to allow Guest Chef Shane Dean time to prepare for his scheduled event.
