“This season all the dumplings are going to be made by my hands. I don’t know if I could get it done.”
After two batches of very successful machine dumpling productions, I called mama in tears.

The semi-machine made Disco Dumplings were always popular, yes, but I know they can taste better in handmade form.
Like every obsessive cook, that gap between reality and potential kept me up at night, until this year.

“I have more experience and stronger dumpling muscles now, I may be able to pull this off.”

With mama’s help 😂.

There are new recipes that I simply wouldn’t dare to tackle alone, because the preparation on certain vegetables can be so time-sensitive and meticulous,
like the tomatoes in this season’s beef dumplings, the bok choy in vegetable dumplings, and so on.

Mama flew from Texas, stayed by my side for the most uncertain part of production - new recipe development.

I learned so much from her, and am currently having a bigger face thanks to her delicious family meals :))))

Thank you mama for supporting my business, instilling the passion for dumplings in little Sola, and later again, in adult Sola.
