After Milbert (Dad) passed in November of 2025, We Kept Mikey's Family Restaurant Open for Martha (Mom). They have been in Business since May of 1988. 38 Years ! Through every Decade, Mikey's has Stood and Survived. Martha and Milbert kept the Business open.... No Matter What......
I can't say the Business was their 2nd Home, it was actually their Primary Home, choosing to be there several Hours a day.
Throughout those Decades, We always Knew Mikey's could be so much more. So, after Milbert's passing, us Girls made a decision.... Milbert had said We could do anything we wanted after his passing.... SO WE DID. We Renovated, Upgraded Equipment and Revamped the Menu a bit. We haven't got Everything accomplished but I hope we have Shown what is Possible.... ( We have several more ideas We are absolutely willing to share. )
We are not getting any Younger and looking at Martha and Milbert as examples, we do not want to continue the business into our Senior Years.
