The crew at Ultima Taco today ventured out of West Seneca to head into Lockport! South Lockport Fire Co. asked us to cater their Family Picnic. We had a great time cooking for all our first responders who chose to serve their community every single day.

The crew here at Ultima Taco are saddened to hear of the passing of our longtime customer and friend, Jay Mazurkiewicz.

Jay was an incredible person who dedicated his life to serving our community as a Town of West Seneca dispatcher, and respected fire instructor. He was intelligent, kind, and always appreciated by those around him.

Over the years, Jay became part of the Ultima Taco family. He often ordered takeout while working dispatch, and it was always a pleasure to serve him. His kindness and support meant more to us than he probably ever knew.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Jay’s family, friends, and everyone whose lives he touched. He put on a long, strong fight. Jay, you will be deeply missed and will never be forgotten.

As Jay would always say, “Press On”. 🤍

We hope everyone has a fun, relaxing, and safe holiday weekend with family and friends! We are OPEN today, from 11a till 8p. We will be CLOSED Saturday & Sunday to allow our crew time with their families and loved ones.

With the summer heat sticking around, remember to take care of yourself by drinking plenty of water, finding some shade when you can, and staying cool if you’re spending time outside. Don’t forget sunscreen! 🧴

If you’re planning to watch fireworks, please put safety first. The best way to enjoy them is at a local professional display, where you can celebrate without the risk of injury or fire. 🎆 and remember, 911 is for emergencies.. 😉
